During this professional development day I had the opportunity to attend a number of workshops. One in particular that I gained a lot from was a workshop on special education in schools. The most useful aspect of this workshop was all of the tips and strategies that we gained in regard to how to deal with parents who may be resistant to helping with getting their child on an IEP.
